Martell Cognac, imported and distributed by Pernod Ricard USA, first paid homage to their consumer in 2004 with their highly successful Rise Above campaign. Rise Above was an initiative set forth to honor those unique individuals who have showcased their proven ability to rise above life’s obstacles. Now, exhibiting the utmost continuity in their ideation, Martell continues to revere their noble loyalists with the launch of Noblige (derived from the word Nobility), the next step above VSOP, a fine cognac of poise, structure and style. Martell found it only necessary to now honor their devoted consumer; a refined, noble class of cognac drinkers who embody the attributes that personify the brand.
On May 24th, Martell will visit Miami with Discover Noblige, an exclusive traveling exhibition of the art, culture and style of the brand. Martell will recognize the local talent of Miami, including renowned artist Ben Sivells and the innovative jewelry and watch designs of Krieger Chronometers Suisses, celebrating their cultural contributions by incorporating their valued creations into the evening’s festivities. Martell loyalists and local tastemakers will be taken on a private visual tour of a Noblige art and style lounge, where they will be exposed to an atmosphere of stylistic components that exemplify the Noblige philosophy, from the sleek, innovative shape of the bottle and fine writing instruments, to elegant garments and accessories; items that represent the brand’s superiority and class. Martell prides itself not only on their fine product, but on the stylistic ideals embedded in the brand’s integrity. Many have already credited Noblige as the missing ingredient in their distinguished daily ritual; the quintessential element of the luxury lifestyle. The Discover Noblige journey will include a formal festivity of Noblige cuisine tastings. Martell will recognize local notable Chef Govind Armstrong as he creates original dishes that compliment the spirit.
As a celebration of charitable giving, Martell will also honor esteemed scholar and humanitarian Dr. Dushyantha T. Jayaweera for his distinguished work in the education of and fight against HIV, the societal growth provided by the Overtown Youth Center for their dedication to the development of Miami’s most impoverished community, and NAACP Image Award winning author and actor Hill Harper for the consistent accomplishments of his MANifest Your Destiny Foundation. In recognition of each of their prestigious cause related endeavors, Martell will make a monetary donation in each of their names to the charitable causes they regularly support. Harper was honored last month in Los Angeles at the program’s launch, and Martell will continue to honor him in each respective city the tour visits, as the program’s anchor. Martell also honored acclaimed television and film actress Nia Long and actress, author and philanthropist Holly Robinson Peete at the Los Angeles launch of Discover Noblige, proudly making monetary contributions to Long’s Mwikali’s Gift Foundation and Peete’s HollyRod Foundation.
