Boost Mobile Partners with RISE Magazine to Showcase Nation’s Top 24 Players

 

WHO:              The nation’s top 24 ranked HS Basketball Players will descend once again upon New York City’s famed Rucker Park for the second annual Boost Mobile Elite 24 Hoops Classic. Last year’s inaugural event included such top players from the class of ’07 as Naismith Player Of the Year Kevin Love (UCLA), McDonald’s All-American MVP Michael Beasley (Kansas State) as well as New York’s Super Soph Lance Stephenson (Lincoln HS).

What:              The Boost Mobile Elite 24 Hoops Classic is the only event of its kind, featuring the top 24 players regardless of class or sneaker affiliation. The three-day event features an open run practice session, media day, hosted welcome dinner and the players taking part in Rock Corps, Boost Mobile’s brand community service effort.

When:             The Boost Mobile Elite 24 Game Tips off on Friday, August 24th @ 7:30p.m.

 

Why:                The Boost Mobile Elite 24 Hoops Classic is the most unique high school sports event of its kind, bringing the nation’s top 24 ranked H.S. Basketball Player regardless of class or sneaker affiliation together. Taking place at New York’s famed Rucker Park, the legendary court where legend to current NBA stars such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Dr. J, Nate “Tiny” Archibald and Connie Hawkins first showcased their talents, the unique event will be the first chance that many of these future college and NBA rivals take their first shots at one another.
