Golden – MC and featured hip-hop artist of the week on MySpace – released his debut album Peddling Medicine via iTunes today, Tuesday, April 17, 2007. Produced by Printz Board, music director and touring member of the Black Eyed Peas, the album includes the track “Elevator Music” featuring Fergie. This upbeat track is currently being offered as a free MP3 on Peer 2 Peer networks and has already received over one hundred thousand downloads by fans and music enthusiasts in only a few days. Hard copies of the record will hit shelves on May 15, 2007.

Peddling Medicine, Golden’s debut album has the cure for what ails you. A collection of thought-provoking, lyrically inspired tracks, it has something that most hip-hop albums are missing—heart.  The white MC anthem “It Ain’t Me,” is about the person Golden is, and not the person people expect him to be. Pair his down-to-earth intelligent lyrics with funky beats that strike powerfully, and the outcome is an eclectic blend of hip-hop – delivering substance worth the hype.

Golden has already begun making his mark in the industry opening for the Black Eyed Peas World Tour and sharing the stage with talented artists including Mary J. Blige, Lupe Fiasco, Xzibit, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Sean Paul, and many more.

A Reading PA native, Golden now resides in Minneapolis, MN where he recorded most of the album. Industry Magazine is already raving about Golden saying, “East coast swagger meets West coast influence and finds a home in the Midwest,” and Golden is the conduit.
